Scotland is blessed with many golf courses to suit all tastes and pockets. At Auchentroig Estate we offer accommodation on our estate to golfers who come to play the many courses in Central Scotland.
Situated in the centre of Scotland we have Gleneagles golf course. There are also courses in Perthshire, Strilingshire and The Trossachs.
Aberfoyle, Balfron, Buchanan Castle and Strathendrick are inexpensive picturesque courses.
The famous Gleneagles Golf courses are 30 minutes drive and with St Andrews only 1 hour away you really have many world classes courses to choose from.

Cycling
Cycle Hire is available in Aberfoyle with maps at Auchentroig to help you plan your route. We are very close to the on-road and off-road Lowland Highland trail.
Aberfoyle also provides an excellent starting and finishing point for hundreds of miles of forest trails and cycle paths.
Walking
Auchentroig Estate is on the edge of the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park and there are many wonderful walks from short strolls to full day outings among the forest views, lochs and glens.
Water sports
At Luss near Loch Lomond and Lochearnhead there are excellent water sports facilities, and also good facilities at Loch Ard (near Aberfoyle) only 15 minutes away from Auchtoig Estate.
Pony Trekking
Pony Trekking is only a 15 min drive from your Auchentroig Estate. Its great fun and highly recommended.
Curling
In the winter months, curling can be arranged for small groups, with tuition also included. There are two Ice Rinks within 15 minutes of Auchentroig Estate.
